An EERI and SMIS Learning from Earthquakes Reconnaissance Report.
This report was jointly authored and edited by representatives of EERI and
the Mexican Society for Earthquake Engineering (SMIS), and has been
rigorously reviewed in accordance with EERI policy. The Institute has
decided to publish it as a stand-alone reconnaissance report rather than a
special issue of the journal, Earthquake Spectra. The report, in English
and Spanish versions, is being made available to EERI members for download
through the memorandum of understanding that exists between EERI and SMIS.
Similar privileges are being extended by SMIS to its members.
