Welcome to the mitigation center image gallery. This gallery has two components--earthquake images and images related to mitigation and preparedness. The earthquake images come from EERI reconnaissance teams and from a slide library formerly maintained by BAREPP, a program of the California Office of Emergency Services.
To view earthquake images, click on Earthquakes, and then the name of the country, and then the earthquake. Many of the images are organized in folders by photographer and/or buildings or other important features of the earthquake. To quickly view many images, choose View Slide Show in right hand menu.
