Meetings
EERI's Annual General Meeting of the Membership.
EERI holds an annual meeting each year, usually in February. No more than eighteen months may pass between Annual Meetings. The format consists of a session dedicated to the discussion of the business affairs, and a group of technical programs consisting of submitted and invited presentations on the various phases of Earthquake Engineering.

The EERI Committee on Urban Earthquake Hazard Reduction and the Japan Institute of Social Safety Science (ISSS) plan a series of join US-Japan workshops that had begun in 1984.
Sponsored by the National Science Foundation.

to be held January 18-20, 2005, in Kobe, Japan
- 7th U.S. Japan Workshop on Urban Earthquake Hazard Reduction
The workshop was held in Wailea, Maui, Hawaii at the Outrigger Resort Hotel March 23 - 26, 2003.
