MEETING & HOTEL INFORMATION
The final night of the 2008 New Orleans Mardi Gras will fall on Fat Tuesday, February 5, one day before EERI's Annual Meeting opening reception at the Astor Crowne Plaza Hotel in the French Quarter.
RESERVATIONS
The Astor Crowne Plaza is sold out.
The Chateau Sonesta (less than one block away,
http://www.sonesta.com/chateau), will honor the rate of $139 single and $159
double for the nights of February 6-9, 2008, as long as possible. Contact
the hotel directly at 504-586-0800 and ask for reservations.
At the Holiday Inn New Orleans-French Quarter (phone 504/529-7211,
http://www.holidayinn.com/msy-frenchqtr), rates are $99 for weeknights and
$139 for Friday night. This hotel is 2 blocks from the Crowne Plaza.

Poster Requirements
Each poster presenter whose abstract was accepted for one of the Annual Meeting poster sessions will be provided with a free-standing easel, a 30" x 40" foam core board (3/16" thick), and clips to attach the poster to the board. The most successful posters are those that have an uncluttered layout and large graphics. Posters may be positioned either vertically or horizontally. Do not count on the availability of electrical outlets.
Presenters will be assigned to one of the two poster sessions, either Thursday (Feb. 7), 5:45 to 7:00 p.m., or Friday (Feb. 8) 5:30-7:00 pm. You will be able to set up one hour early on a first-come, first-served basis.
