July 24 - 29, 2010 Toronto, Canada The Ninth U.S. National and Tenth Canadian Conference on Earthquake Engineering, to be held in Toronto, Canada in 2010, will provide an opportunity for both researchers and practitioners to share the latest knowledge and techniques for understanding and mitigating the effects of earthquakes. This is the first time that a conference of this scale is being organized jointly by the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute and the Canadian Association for Earthquake Engineering. The conference will provide a unique environment to facilitate synergy between U.S. and Canadian colleagues, as well as other participants from around the world. This conference will bring together professionals from a broad range of disciplines, including architecture, structural engineering, seismology, geology, geophysics, geotechnical engineering, business, public policy, social sciences, regional planning, emergency response planning, and regulation.
