NORSAR, an independent research foundation in Norway, has announced a one-year assignment (with a possibility of extension) for a postdoctoral scientist or a civil engineer with experience and ambitions in earthquake engineering to conduct basic and applied research within earthquake engineering, with emphasis on work related to seismic hazard, vulnerability, and loss evaluation. The postdoc will be engaged in international projects. The candidate’s ability to document and present work and results in writing and orally, and to represent NORSAR internationally, will be essential.
