Dr. Naeim will give a brief review of EERI, what it is, what it does, and why it is important for students to join it.  He will also give a glimpse of the structural engineering behind a number of landmark projects in which he has been involved, including the Walt Disney Concert Hall and Staples Center in Los Angeles, and Eiffel Tower II in Las Vegas.
