Last Day to Renew your EERI membership for 2018 is March 31st

Renewal Alert: If you have not yet renewed your EERI regular, affiliate, e-affiliate, young professional, retired, or subscribing membership for 2018, you must take action before March 31, 2018 to retain your membership benefits.

Renewing your EERI membership will allow you to stay connected to your colleagues through the member directory, access EERI members-only resources including Learning from Earthquakes reports and photo galleries, keep receiving The Pulse of Earthquake Engineering, and retain access to the premier journal of earthquake engineering, Earthquake Spectra.

EERI Inaugural Younger Member Award Competition: Deadline for Nominations is April 15, 2018

The EERI Younger Members Committee (YMC) is now accepting applications for the inaugural Younger Member Award (YMA). The purpose of this award is to recognize a YMC member who has demonstrated exceptional engagement and contributions primarily to the YMC committee (and secondarily, to other EERI programs, committees, and projects). The awardee will be recognized during the 11th National Conference on Earthquake Engineering (11NCEE) in June and the winner will receive a registration grant for the conference. The application deadline is April 15th, 2018.Results to be announced by May 7th, 2018

The general rules of the competition are as follows:

  • Applicant must be a current YMC member in good standing who has  participated in EERI and committee activities over the prior year(s).  
  • Applicant must not be a current and/or past YMC co-chair (in future YMA award years, applicant cannot be the YMA awardee from the prior year).
