Levels
Regular Membership Yearly dues are $295.
Young Professional Membership Yearly dues are $150. EERI Young Professional members are those who are employed for five or fewer years in their field.
Retired Membership Yearly dues are $150. Applicants must have five or more continuous years of EERI membership and be 65 or over.
Affiliate Membership Yearly dues are $50. This category of membership is available only to individuals who live in developing and less developed countries (click here for a list of countries). Affiliate members have the same benefits and privileges as regular members except for the right to vote and hold office.
Student Membership Yearly dues are $25. Applicants must be full-time college students working toward a degree aligned with the mission and goals of EERI. Graduating students are eligible to renew for one free year of EERI Young Professional membership.
Associate Membership of SSA EERI members may also add a Seismological Society of America (SSA) Associate Membership for an additional $100 per year. SSA Associate Members receive online access to Seismological Research Letters (SRL) and inclusion in/access to the SSA membership roster. EERI members seeking full benefits of SSA membership will need to join SSA directly as a full member. For more information on SSA membership, please click here.
SSA Affiliate Membership of EERI Seismological Society of America (SSA) members may select to affiliate with EERI for $90/year to receive EERI’s biweekly newsletter, be included in the EERI membership directory and receive the discounted member rate for EERI webinars. Members of SSA who are seeking full benefits of EERI membership (including access to Earthquake Spectra, meeting discounts, voting privileges, ability to participate in committees) should join EERI as a primary member.
Lifetime Membership Allows EERI individual members to purchase and enjoy, for a one-time fee of $5000, the privileges and benefits of EERI membership for the rest of their lives. Regional chapter membership(s) are included in the Lifetime Membership at no charge.To be eligible for lifetime membership, members must be 45 years of age or over, have a history of membership with EERI for at least 5 years, and be committed to upholding EERI’s Code of Conduct.
