He co-founded the firm of Dames and Moore, which pioneered the application of probabilistic seismic hazard assessment to seismic hazard estimation. He played leadership roles in many capacities that had an impact on important social and public policy issues affecting the engineering profession and society at large. May 1998, 160 pp.
